We were asked to find an animal and a film and use different techniques from photoshop on them. I like this flamingo image because it looks like I've just plucked the feathers of them!
I went to go and see 127 hours...soo good, in love with James Franco! So i chose this image to manipulate. The techniques I used are clone, dodge, blur, color and pattern fill.
AHH loved drawing with Petra:)
This week we got given some junk and plasticine and had to attach it together and make an object or keep it abstract. I ended up making unusual looking angels. I made 3 different ones. I then used techniques of drawing them, making rubbings and creating collages and use of ink. I found rubbing's from lots of objects such as back of computers, shoe soles, cupboards, signs. To create the texture I would then just put a thing piece of paper over the object and the its done. When I used the ink I didn't paint it on traditionally with a paintbrush, I went outside and found good sticks to use.I didnt want my angels to look stereotypical I wanted people to think about them and appreciate their interesting features. Some worked out better than other!

My mini photography project consisted of these pictures. Each photo have elements of circles or spots and horizontal/vertical lines. These were also taken on a dog walk in the snow over the holiday.
More blind drawings...
