Evaluation of Summer

I can't believe I am in Year 2 already and that summer has passed so quickly! Below are some images of crafts I did with the amazing kids I got to teach at camp. It was actually a lot more work than I had anticipated as each week was a different age and I needed to work out what abilities each age range had. My favourite week was Jr. High. The first few weeks I just made simple crafts like animals out of egg cartons, picture frames and foam books and then by the teen weeks I incorporated a lot more fine art into my program so we did watercolour, plaster moulds, tie-dying, drawing with inks, photography challenges/scavenger hunt and in the last week animation!
My wonderful craft hut
I had an unreal amount to of supplies to work with-you name it, it was there!

Planking!

A still from a clay animation of a fav camp song-funky chicken!
