Summer

This summer I am working as an arts and crafts leader for Camp Crossroads in Canada. I am really excited as I will be incorporating new ideas into the camps regime rather than just friendship bracelets. I will be using a lot of the skills I have gained this year such as digital photography, drawing workshops, painting and also animations! So excited!

Week 6

ART
I went to the degree show yesterday and really loved it. I especially liked the Creative Arts work on the 3rd floor and the paintings. It's exciting to think that will be me in a couple of years and it was useful to see what sort of standard I need to get to!

Week 5

ART
This week I went to an exhibition in London to seen Linda McCartney's photography. It was amazing. I also learnt that she was Mr Kodak's daughter and one of the first british female photographers. The size of the photos were so overwhelming. Here are some iconic images of hers.

The Gallery also had famous art pieces- Damien Hirst. This piece reminds me of African art.

Week 4

ART
I went to see (4 hours worth of) the 3rd year final recitals. Was really great listening to them and drawing at the same time.
